CALL FOR JOB APPLICATIONS AS SOCIAL ANIMATORS
Kiambu Water and Sewerage Company has received a grant from Water Fund to construct 200 No toilets at household level spread across the 4 wards of Kiambu Sub County. The company intends to recruit social animators whose main role will be to disseminate information to the landowners within our area of service to improve household sanitation by constructing/rehabilitating existing facilities. Successful candidates will be contracted for a period of 8 Months.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Have a certificate in Secondary education, Certificate, diploma, or degree in Community development, sociology, social sciences, etc.
- Have an interest in community engagement
- Excellent interpersonal skills, good communication skills.
- Possess basic computer literacy and MUST have a smartphone
- Willing to work with TARGETS.
- Resides within Kiambu Sub-County with Knowledge of local language
- Being a community health volunteer is an additional advantage
SPECIFIC TASKS
- Identify viable points to construct/ rehabilitate UBSUP toilets
- Promoting good handwashing & hygiene practices
- Ensure the UBSUP toilets are constructed as guided by WATER FUND specifications
- Become a member of the Project Task Team
- Participate and organize Barazas & public meeting
- Data Collection on Project areas (taking pictures – before and after)
